    Description

You are bidding on a WWI Australian Imperial Forces (AIF) 29th Infantry Battalion (Bn) Cap Badge.
The badge is used and is in good condition with limited signs of wear or age, and has no enamel damage.
The backside is unmarked and has both of its original lugs that are slightly slanted to the left.
The 29th Bn was an infantry battalion of the Australian Army that was first formed in 1915 for service during World War I as part of the AIF. The battalion fought in the trenches of the Western Front in
    France
    and
    Belgium
before being disbanded in late 1918 to provide reinforcements for other heavily depleted Australian units. Be sure to check out my other auctions for more military collectibles. Good luck and happy bidding!
