Vintage Western Horse Black Leather PARADE Bridle w Crocket Renalde Bit & Reins
Fantastic old Parade bridle made of thick heavy black leather.  Engraved Floral engraved embellishments.  (one missing on the browband)  Stainless steel Cart buckles at both bit ends and one at the poll.   Headstall will adjust from 31" to  38" bit to bit.  16 1/2" browband.  Nose band will adjust from 22 1/2" to 27".   Cheeks are 2" wide at the widest point.  Browband and nose band are  1 3/4" at the widest point.  The leather piece that runs through the top of the bit is 3/4" wide.   Headstall is in fantastic shape for it's age, showing natural ageing.  Bit is a maker marked Crockett Renalde engraved aluminum curb bit with a 5" mouth and 7 1/2" cheeks.  VERY neat custom made split reins with leather ends with snaps.   Tail ends have cool wooden dowels with horse hair tassels.   Reins are 7'6" long x 1/2" wide. This set has been a wall hanger for many years.  I will leave cleaning and conditioning up to the new owner.
