Vintage Hou- ou Bird Phoenix Peacock Figurine Made in Occupied Japan

Up for auction a vintage colorful Hou-ou, Phoenix or Peacock porcelain figurine made in Occupied Japan.
The figurine measures 6 7/8" high, 3" wide from side to side, 3" long from front to back and weighs 8.3 ounces prior to packing for shipping.  Will ship in a 8x8x6 box.
This piece is in very good used vintage condition without cracks, chips, flakes or repairs.  There is some wear and rubs to the glaze, but it still is colorful.  I see a couple bits of stray porcelain, under the glaze, on the rocks.  The glaze decoration is really well executed, but there are a couple of small dot of scattered glaze.
