Attention collectors, show exhibitors!  This is an absolutely stunning engraved Sterling Silver Nevada style shank Arabian sized sweet iron steel show curb bit with
GORG
EOUS
engraved sterling overlay on the cheeks in the Californio Vaquero style.  The close up photos show the fabulous quality of the engraving on the stunning shanks which is in the style of Bill Stewart or Dave Murray.   The inside of the right shank is maker marked D
◇T, or DOT?, however the center mark is definitely a diamont character.
This is a very well made bit with a 3/8 inch diameter x 4.5 inch wide low port roller curb mouthpiece.  The roller, and back side of the bit have copper stripes to encourage salivation.  The shanks measure 6-1/2 inches long with a 2-1/2 inch purchase for a 2.6 to 1 leverage ratio and weighs in at at light 15 ounces making it a great bit for a young stock breed horse or Arabian.  This stunning bit will make a great addition to your show bit collection and will look great in any show ring setting.
