Vintage Carved Wood Stingray Dish, Trobriand Is, PNG

Description

Here is a small dish, with a long handle, that's carved in the shape of a stingray, complete with the barb on its tail.  One side is the dish and the other is the stingray.  Made from gorgeous deep red wood with traditional incised designs.  It is 11 1/8" long and the dish portion is 4 5/8" x 3 5/8".  In excellent original condition.
