Vintage Brazil Ordem e Progresso Flag Nautical Merchant boat ship RARE
Measures 47” x 69” (see pictures)
This flag was inherited from a ship captain who worked for Lykes. Cargo ships, etc had to fly the national flag of the country that they were in (in addition to the American flag)
Heavy material.
Not sure of the age. Doesn’t appear to have been flown, as there are no frays or tears. The is some light staining due to the age and storage.
It is stamped Defiance 100% Cotton
