BERING SEA ORIGINALS Coffee & Tea Pots! Vintage, Hand Painted by Alaska Artist.
A beautiful set that I purchased in Anchorage, Alaska in 1971. They have been on display in my China cabinet since then. I don’t think they were ever used.
Great addition for your collection. A beautiful set with no chips, cracks or repairs. Over 50 years old. There is crazing visible in the glaze/finish.
Coffee pot is 10” high, with a 5” diameter base. Front shows a tree and a bear next to a stream, with a salmon in his paw. Signed: “MANU”. Back shows a tree.
Tea pot is 6” high, with a 5” diameter base. Front shows a lynx sitting in a tree. Signed: “ABAH”. Back shows a tree branch.
Both have matching lids. On the bottom of each is written: “Bering Sea Originals, Hand Painted, Made in Alaska.” Also numbered: “1650” (coffee pot) & “1600” (tea pot).
