Vintage Antique Tribal Asmat New Guinea Fertility Wood Carving Statue Sculpture

Up for bids is this large carved wood fertility statue. It measures nearly 26 inches tall. I have not been able to identify it's age, but I am told by a kind fellow eBayer that it's Asmat from New Guinea. There is paint wear overall. The smaller form has lost a majority of the nose. There is a number on the base that is possibly a catalog number from a collection. I do not have any history on this piece. Please email with any questions, and I will do my best to answer.
