Here is a beautiful and unique horse bit for your consideration. According to sources this bit was made by Maynard
Strandberg
, a Montana maker from
Ryegate
(marked FINO and an S). This pierced cheek bit has a unique style and a halfbreed mouth.
Standberg
was a part time bit and spur maker who supposedly only made about 60 bits during his 89 years on this earth. Provenance - From a Montana collector's collection.
MAKER: Maynard
Strandberg
(1913 - 2003).
APPROX AGE: Vintage.
SIZE: It has a 5-1/8 inch mouth piece. It is 5-1/2 inch long over all.
CONDITION: Good for its age, normal wear expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
