    This is an older storage jar made from clay called
    noranggau from
    Aibom, Chambri Lakes area, Papua New Guinea.
    Used to store sago, decorated with two pig faces, painted with earth pigments.
    Rim fragment is missing, a strand is broken in the woven stand.
    9" tall, 8" wide, weighs 6 lb.
