    Description

Offered is a rare 1/3 Talara silver coin issued under the reign of Friedrich August I for use in the Grand Duchy of Warsaw, KM#C86. Owing to the short-lived nature of the Napoleonic state, as well as the disastrous financial conditions of the Duchy, these larger silver denominations faced high attrition rates, further reducing what were already small mintages.
This example circulated, but retaining pleasing detail. Date fully visible, and coin generally much better in-hand. Please see photos for grade and details.
