  • Condition: This beauty is in perfect condition as far as I can see, with no chips dings cracks or damage. note.. Pressed, molded or blown Glass Ceramics and porcelains have imperfections from the manufacturing process. These imperfections are inherited by production and not considered damage. However Any large imperfections that look real bad will be noted as major defects of course, but minor imperfections that often occur such as: color variations, creases/lines from molds, stilt marks, Crazing, tiny air bubbles or small debris encased in glass or bisque/porcelain products are natural or inherent, and not going to be scrutinized or considered damage since it is not.

    Description

    This is a fantastic looking old piece of Occupied Japan.  It is a rare covered Sandwich or lunch plate, like a Cheese Dish, that is vented.  It is made by Ohata China and is marked same.  It comes in a
    Purple Violets Forget me Not's pattern of floral design with gold leaf accents.
    The form is quite beautiful.  Wonderful colors and a sweet decoration overall.
    The dish is approx 4.5" tall x 8.5" in diam.
