A great old hand carved handle, presumably by the Dayak culture of Borneo. This piece may have been used as a Head Hunter's weapon handle, or possibly as a staff handle.
A worthy object for study, and display. This piece will make a terrific object for any student or appreciators collection of Papua New Guinea and Oceania art and artifacts.
Good condition with a minor crack in the base. Exhibits signs of age such as surface wear and weathering. As they are part of the description, please enlarge all photographs to better ascertain details and condition.
