    Description

    Wisconsin Pottery in Pittsville WI - commonly called Pittsville Pottery & also known as WIS ART - made about 50 different shapes 1931-43.
    This small tapered "oil jar" vase is 4-1/4 inches & 3-1/4 inches wide at its widest point.  It has a medium yellow glaze.  The typical white fired bottom has an impressed 100 for the shape number & a hand-incised 1-9 for the finisher.  It is in excellent vintage condition - no chips, hairlines, or crazing.  Ships USPS.
