Pitcairn island cornucopia cup set hand engraved and carved Bounty descendants

Selling a rare set of cornucopia cups from Pitcairn island.
One is hand carved and says
Souvenir from Pitcairn island. Made by Robin Christian.
Robin is a descendant of Fletcher Christian from the HMS Bounty.
Fletcher Christian was master's mate on board HMS Bounty during Lieutenant William Bligh's voyage to Tahiti for breadfruit plants. In the mutiny on the Bounty, Christian seized command of the ship from Bligh on 28 April 1789
It is in extremely good condition.
The 2nd cup is not engraved. Both are hand carved with a hand wrapped around the base. The 2nd cup has a crack in the wood. See photos.
I received the following correspondence from a member of the Christian family from Pitcairn in response to is this a real Pitcairn item and was there a Robin Christian? (
Was there a Robin Christian?  The letters carved into the vessel look suspiciously primitive and both Pitcairn and Christian are misspelled.)
The short answer to your question is I don’t know.  It could be genuine as they used to use stamp letters in my grandparents day.
