If your pellet stove shuts down and displays a POF or #3 blinking light; that could be because one of your limit switches have shut the unit down. This could be the High Temp Thermodisc or the POF (Proof of Fire) Low Limit Thermodisc.
Those new CERAMIC heat sensors can withstand the high temperatures in your stove and should last much longer. No more burnt Plastic housings and Contacts!

The High Temp Limit Thermodisc
is a safety switch located near the convection blower. This limit disc opens on temperature rise to interrupt the power if temperatures rise above 300 degrees.
This is an aftermarket version that meets or exceeds the original factory version. It comes with spacers and screws for surface or hole mounting.

is mounted on the combustion blower housing in
all pellet stove models from 2003 to present
, and also the Multi-Fuel stove. The limit switch monitors the temperature of exhaust gases and is designed to shut down the stove if the temperature drops below about 85º F degrees.
