Your are buying a side arm heat exchanger for your hot water tank (domestic water).  This has fittings sizes of 3/4" inlet for your hot water tank and 1" on the outdoor wood furnace side that are threaded for ease of installation.The length is 48" long and 3" at its widest point.  This can work with any gas or electric hot water heater.   This unit will not clog up like a plate exchanger when used on the domestic water side. The inner copper tube has been rolled to make the water swirl for better heat transfer.   THIS ITEM HAS NOT BEEN SWEATED TOGETHER SO IT WILL FIT FOR ANY APPLICATION   WE NOW OFFER THE PORTS ON THE WOOD STOVE LINE OF THE SIDEARM WITH A THREADED FITTING SO THIS WILL SAVE YOU 2 SWEAT JOINTS AND MAKE FOR A EASY INSTALL ON THE WOOD STOVE SIDE OF THIS HEAT EXCHANGER. THAT TEE WITH THE THREADED PORTS ARE ALSO MADE OF BRASS !!!!!!  THIS IS A ONE SIZE FITS ALL UP TO A 120 GALLON HOT WATER TANK
beware of the other selling the smaller side arms with 7 tubes inside as they are made in china. Do they use 99.9% silver solder??? I would not bet on it. Also there is the chance that the solder job could leak. If you buy one of those side arms and it does leak it will mix the boiler water with your domestic water and drinking water. If that happens you will have more problems than you could ever imagine. We will not sell that style of side arm as it is too dangerous to our customers health if it fails. Beware of the claim of a 15 min recovery time on that style as to get that recovery time you need to install an extra pump on the domestic side and that pump must be a special stainless steel pump as that pump will come in contact with your domestic water and will cost you much much more than a regular pump. As i said the competitions side arms can be dangerous but we will let you be the judge of you and your family's

grade of copper, but the thickness that counts!
IF THIS INSIDE TUBE FAILS OR LEAKS, IT WILL MIX THE 2 WATERS AND COULD KILL YOU!
Others want you to believe that the thinner copper has better heat transfer.

They are just selling you a cheaper unit that will not last as long and
put you in danger

L and M grades of copper that others are using are thinner and when the rolled threads are cut it will be too thin!
Our sidearms are made from grade K copper.
WE CAN NOT OVERSTATE ENOUGH THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS!!!
The design of this system makes it impossible for the 2 waters to mix or leak!
There are many people selling homemade cheap sidearms, stating that they use the best grade of copper.
The inner part of the sidearm must be threaded, or rolled, for the
best heat transfer

PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE ROLLED THREAD INNER 3/4 COPPER TUBE LIKE OURS DO YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY. ALSO UNDERSTAND OTHERS SAY THEY OFFER TOP QUALITY COPPER. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF A LOW QUALITY COPPER. WHAT YOU NEED TO ASK WHEN LOOKING AT OTHERS IS!!!!! IS THE 3/4 INCH COPPER TUBE MADE FROM K COPPER AS THAT MEANS THE THICKNESS OF THE COPPER. IF YOU HAVE L COPPER OR M COPPER IT MEANS IT IS THINNER SO WHEN YOU CUT THE ROLLED THREADS IT WILL BE TOO THIN AND CAN CAUSE MAJOR PROBLEMS WHEN IT LEAKS!!!!!!
