    Description

    For sale an old RARE type of Spirit Mask from Vanuatu. It has  Fantastic expression and with the two pigsteet still present as well as the vulnerable ears etc. It clearly has a good age as visible from under which the used colors. Still with the long fiber-hairs at the back to cover the wearers head and shoulder. Not many of these (authentic and old) masks have survived due to their fragile character; items from Vanuatu often have this type of woodpaste attached. Coming with the stand. Up for GRABS!! Estimated 1870- 1900
