    Origin: New Guinea, E. Sepik Province, Lower Sepik, Keram River, Kambot Village (Provenance: Collected by Geologist George Anderman)

    Description: This is the top portion of a Yam Harvest digging stick that once measured over 7 feet tall.  It features an ancestor figure surmounted by two Cockatoo birds.  It is weathered and used and is a nice example of a fragment sculpture.
