connectors

plastic.
The 384 series track was what came packaged in the 384, 385, 386 and 387 train sets.
Just .50 shipping for each additional
set of 4.
The 384 series track has a different style brass capped plastic rail that does not snap together with the older 380 series track which has a full height brass rail.
The end connectors are completely different on 384 track vs 380 track
