Mentewai Turtle Net Float Siberut Sumatra Artifact Tribal Indonesia

We are selling this turtle hunting float hand carved by Mentewai people from the island of Siberut west of Sumatra, an Indonesian island.  These floats keep a net up and the figures have cultural significance.
Our trader friend went into the Indonesian jungle with a vest full of tobacco, rolling papers, bobby pins, razors and lighters and this is one of the things he came out with.  We'll ship the next day.
