    Description

    This listing is for a Lionel The Polar Express G Gauge Train Set. It is just about complete. It has all 16 Tracks, all 4 Train Cars including the Locomotive, the Remote Control, the Tom Hanks Conductor Mini Figure and the Mini Figure that pops up from one of the train cars. Also included are the instructions and all necessary batteries. Two double A batteries for the remote and six C batteries for the train. The only thing missing is the little boy Mini Figure and Santa’s Bell.

    The issue I am having is that once the train is powered up, I move the knob to “forward”, the train begins to go for a second and then shuts off. Seems like it shorts out. However, the tracks and cars are in excellent condition. The train powers on perfectly. I can make the whistle and bell work, when using the remote. The remote powers on properly. So it appears everything is working, but the train just shuts off. Also, when this happens, I press the power button and the train comes right back on. I cannot figure out the issue. The set is in beautiful condition aside from this issue. Please see pics for details. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
