Kamoro Tribe Hand Crafted Original Wooden Tifa Drum Papua New Guinea Island. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Original hand carved Tifa drum from the Kamoro tribe in Papua New Guinea.  The traditional drum is the kind that is usually used during everyday events.  Elaborately carved Tifa's are used for ceremonial events or tourists.
This musical instrument resembles a drum
and is made of wood with a hole in the middle.
The tifa measures 19.5"H X 9" W at base.  The head is made from monitor lizard skin and has 1 cracks on the bottom by the worn out by drum use. The antique original Tifa would make a great addition for any native drum collection, Papua New Guinea, or Pacific island collection.  Please review all photos.
