You are viewing a newly built G-scale Rail Broom Car by The RailbroomGuy.
Began life as a NEW G-scale tender then was refitted with NEW Bachmann trucks with metal wheels and knuckle-style coupler. Battery is housed into upper interior - wiring configured to allow battery recharging without removing battery. The NiMH 9.6vdc battery is sized to provide ample repeated run-times between recharging. Matching charger is included.
Broom is pre-set to
just
touch the crowns of the rails, giving optimal results to clear track of debris that might de-rail your train.
All broom metal components are aluminum, brass and/or stainless steel to provide long service life. Simply line up your engine behind this broom car (refit broom car coupler to mate with your locomotive coupler if necessary) and you are ready to clear your tracks the easiest way you have ever done. Simply vary the speed of your locomotive to allow best cleaning results, usually with one pass.
