    This biography was written by James O. Robinson and published by the National Institute for Burn Medicine in 1987.  This hardcover is 11-¼” high by 8-¾” wide, it has ix + 257 pages and is illustrated.
    This book is Inscribed and Signed by the Author on the 1st blank page.
    This book is in VG condition, a nice, clean copy.
    Frederick Coller was born in Brookings, South Dakota, in 1887.  He graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1912 and became a resident surgeon at Massachusetts General Hospital in 1914.  He served in the Medical Corps during World War I and rose to the rank of Major.  He was appointed Director of the Department of Surgery at the University of Michigan in 1930 and remained so until forced retirement in 1957.  Dr. Coller died on November 5, 1964.
