Description

I luckily obtained this classic text when a local library tossed it for being out of date. My personal copy had been permanently “borrowed” many years earlier. Its status as a first edition is stated at least 3 times (pics 1,4,6). The actual text of the book is in very good condition considering it will soon be 50 years old. Flipping through the entire book quickly, I found no writing, underlining or any other marks by readers, and no torn or missing pages. Most amazing, it still includes the original Errata sheet (pic 2) which had been tapped onto the inside front cover. It appears that sections of the book have been photocopied multiple times. The book contains the usual signs of being a ex-library copy including a library card sleeve (pic 11) and catalog number information (pic 5). However, someone went a bit insane with the library rubber stamp (pics 3,4,8-12). I assume the colored page edges (pic 8) were also a library addition. The book cover has some wear and fading (pics 1,7 & especially 6). The corners also show wear and minor damage (pics 8-10). Please contact me with any questions and thanks for looking!
