VERY IMPORTANT NOTE
: The train set is very old, based on my research it was made in 1989. Has missing only few straight track. This set have 12 curved track and 2 straight track. In my opinion its more then enough track to enjoy the set. In the coal car I put in new 9v battery but I was unable to make the light work on the back end of coal car. Sometimes locomotive stalls when driving slow, but tap it on top and it reconnect and works great. I have not tried the smoke, don't know if smoke is working. When locomotive runs, the sounds works great but when locomotive idles the idle sounds sometimes doesn't work and sometimes it does, I thinks its due to being very old. The box itself and polystyrene has obvious wear on them due to being old (see pictures). Please keep in mind that this set was made around 1989, and sold as is. You can view this set in great detail in the video link I've provided below. After you buy this set, to get it out of the box, pull on the plastic handle on the side so the inner parts don't drag on
polystyrene.
