You are bidding on a Antique MUGHA INDO PERSIAN RAJPUT SIKH TIGER KNIFE/KATAR NO SHAMSHIR
This is a very old and interesting  item.
I purchased from the son of the collector who got this when he was in the Army during WWII.
The blade is still sharp and has what looks like a flower emblem on the base.
I believe that the metal is WOOTZ Steel but due to its age it is hard to tell.
He was stationed in the Pacific theater and was an avid collector of native items.
He said this dates well before WWII  Possibly 18th century
It is in good shape.
The  sheath has some damage as you can see. This was done many years ago.
All original and is the same when his father collected it so may year ago
