INSTRUCTIONS:
The voltage regulator is a simple set up, there is
+
and
-
input AND
+
and
-
output.
1. Accessory DC input from power supply
( POLARITY REMAINS CONSTANT)
,
solder + and - inputs and adjust output for correct voltage.
2. If using DC track power or DC accessory power that you will change the direction of the train
(REVERSING
POLARITY)
you will need to install the bridge rectifier at the input side, solder + wire from rectifier to + on regulator and - from rectifier to - on regulator , input will solder to the two remaining rectifier leads and adjust output voltage.
3. If using AC accessory input, same as #2 above
4. To adjust output of voltage regulator , turn adjustment screw counter-clockwise to decrease voltage and clockwise to increase voltage. The factory setting is full voltage, it will take several counter-clockwise turns to see a reduction in the output voltage.
