    2 Large Brass 'Civil War Era?' Horse Bridle Rosettes.  Both measure approx. 2" in Diameter x 1/8" Thick. and weigh approx. 1.1 oz. a piece. They have a Brass front and what looks like a heavy lead backer. The brass on both show some tarnishing and one has a tiny dent or heavy scratch near the center. Both have a great patina. The backs show some tarnishing and some finish loss around the center. I am listing them as 'Civil War Era', but I am not 100% sure so any input is quite welcome! ( please see pictures ).
