1986 Craftsman 522 524 Trac Drive Snowblower Auger Box R & L Sides OEM Good !

Here's a good complete right and left auger box side assembly that came off a vintage Craftsman 522 snowblower.  The R & L sides fit the 524 and many other models as well, so check your application.  This is the original OEM unit and is in good usable shape and still worked well on the blower.  These always get so rusted out on the bottoms and the paint flakes badly.  The sides are so critical for keeping the auger axle in alignment--the bushings wear out faster if these are beat-up!  Also, there is no wear on the skid bottoms.  All of the carriage bolt squares are in great structural shape.  They just hold tighter when they aren't hogged out!  Really, there is just a little rust or paint flaking over the whole unit, with even the fasteners showing in good condition.  Cosmetically, the box sides shows some of the scratches and light weathering that these units accumulate over the years of use--but they don't show any collision damage, dents, or brutal rust-out that these suffered from.  These Craftsman 522 complete box sides are getting harder and harder to find in this condition. This is still a good unit for your Craftsman or Noma 522 hard working everyday snowblower.  Please look for more usable parts off Craftsman snowblowers in my other auctions.  Now is the time to fix or renovate the blower before next snow flies!  I recommend a more thorough cleaning and complete lube job prior to installation.
